Wild Root is dedicated to raising, training, and caring for a small pack of happy Alaskan huskies who love nothing more than to travel the trails together through the winter wilds of Alaska.

 We strive to engage and enjoy the wild country in our backyard by traveling and camping, building backcountry competence, and challenging ourselves as we grow stronger. We believe in the power of the wilderness to challenge, empower, and inspire. We hope to offer dog-loving and adventure-seeking souls the opportunity to travel by dog team and experience the unique space this affords for reflection, inspiration and growth.
